The Beach

On my three week vacation to the east coast in June Ella and I were able to join my whole family for a week at the beach. It was wonderful! The weather was gorgeous, I was with my family, Ella loved it all and it was so relaxing. The hardest part about the week was that I could not spend it with Ben--the all time beach bum. I know that you only want to see pictures, so here they are....

I never understood the parents who would sit down by the water collecting a load of sand in their bathing suits until now. It is so worth it!
Ella loved carrying around this dead crab. My daughter of little fear. (Side note: usually she doesn't have a passy in her mouth during the day. It was way past nap time and I was trying to postpone going inside.) The prego women banned to the side of the hot tub (Ashley, my sister in law is only 3 weeks behind me--due in Sept!)

My grandparents were able to make the trip down for half the week. It was so special to be able to see Ella with her great grandparents!
