You may be wondering why we haven't posted in a few days---well we are coming back down to reality. We are just beginning to learn what it means to be a family of three, parents of a two week old and still maintain the activities of life before Ella. We had a tearful goodbye as my mom left us Thursday afternoon. It was a rude awakening for us as we walked back into our apt. and realized that we were totally on our own. As the dishes and laundry pilled up and the next meal time came around we would look at each other and wonder who would be doing them. Mom you were a true blessing---thanks for all the ways you served us! We miss you already.Ben's folks came in last night. It was a joy to introduce them to their first grandbaby! We are looking forward to a fun week with them.

Hey you guys!!! I loved getting the update. It sounds like you are doing so well--- that you are enjoying the ecstasy of parenthood--- who knew, right?! You never knew how much you could be in love with another, did ya? I'm so thankful you have the gift of Ella, and so glad she has the gift of you as her parents.
