Good bye Nana & Papa

For two weeks Ella had a built in playmate and I had the wonderful support and help of my mom. Ella loved the constant attention, special treats like her very own ice cream cone, a playdate at the Magic House (see post below), visits to the park, walks in the neighborhood etc etc. Needless to say being stuck in the house since mom left has been devastating to her! We were so thankful to have the extra help around here and some extended time with my mom. It was so hard to see her leave.
My dad also made his way out here for a weekend to meet his first grandson and again Ella was elated! They worked on house projects together, wrestled on the living room floor and strolled along the river in St. Charles . There's nothing sweeter than to sit and watch my two kids being loved on by my parents.
